Built predominantly in the 15th century by the town’s wool merchants, St James’ Church is a celebration of their craftsmanship, their devotion, and above all their love of God; perhaps most importantly, it continues to be a thriving place of worship.
As part of their fund-raising they periodically produce Christmas cards and I was asked to design some that reflected their Christmas Tree Festival. This card uses images I took of some of the Christmas trees.
